Bai Ye’s words carried a hint of teasing, but the tenderness in his eyes couldn’t be hidden.
Yugito felt her heart fill with sweetness and happiness upon hearing Bai Ye’s words. She knew he was being jealous, but she found this side of him even more endearing.
“Night Lord…”
Yugito snuggled into Bai Ye’s arms and said softly, “Matatabi is my friend, and I hope you can undo the seal on her.”
“Matatabi?”
Hearing this, Bai Ye furrowed his brows slightly. He pondered for a moment, as if considering something.
“Alright.”
Bai Ye eventually agreed to Yugito’s request, saying softly:
“For my little kitty, I’ll reluctantly meet your friend.”
“Mm!”
Yugito’s face lit up with a joyful smile at Bai Ye’s words. She knew Bai Ye was concerned about her, and she believed Matatabi wouldn’t do anything excessive.
“Thank you, Night Lord.”
Yugito nestled into Bai Ye’s embrace, feeling his warmth, and her heart was filled with happiness.
“Okay.”
Bai Ye gently patted Yugito’s back and said, “Let’s go see your friend now.”
Then, Bai Ye activated his Rinne Sharingan and traveled with Yugito to Matatabi’s sealed space.
The ground in this space was scorched and cracked rock, and eerie blue flames seeped from the cracks – these must be Matatabi’s flames.
In the distance, Matatabi was lying on the ground with a helpless expression.
Matatabi was a cat whose entire body was blue flame-like and covered in black markings.
She was enormous, with her whole body burning with cyan-blue flames, and her two tails were like two burning whips, draped casually on the ground.
“Night Lord, that’s Matatabi.”
Yugito pointed at the huge blue cat in the distance and said softly.
Bai Ye followed Yugito’s pointing finger and saw Matatabi lying on the ground, looking somewhat listless.
“She doesn’t seem very happy.”
Bai Ye said softly.
“Matatabi is always like this.”
Yugito shrugged helplessly and said, “She doesn’t like being sealed, so she’s always been depressed.”
“Plus, you strengthened the seal, so she’s in an even worse mood now.”
Suddenly, the eerie blue flames in the sealed space surged, engulfing Bai Ye and Yugito.
Matatabi’s tail slammed the ground irritably, but the splashing lava solidified strangely before touching the hem of Bai Ye’s clothes.
“Human, you dare strengthen my seal!”
Matatabi spoke in a human voice, her glassy vertical pupils reflecting the figures of Bai Ye and Yugito.
As she rose gracefully, demonic flames condensed into a gauze robe, wrapping around her curvaceous body – she had transformed into a half-human, half-cat girl.
The girl had short blue hair like clear lake water, with slightly upturned strands that were lively and playful.
On top of her head stood fluffy cat ears, gently twitching as if to capture the sounds around her.
Her heterochromatic eyes were yellow and blue, clear and mysterious, as if hiding endless stories.
Two fluffy tails dragged behind her, the blue fur adorned with unique patterns, swaying gently with her movements.
Black flames ignited on Bai Ye’s fingertip, the flames of Amaterasu entwining with the eerie blue demonic fire in a spiral.
He strode forward confidently through the lava, and the violent flames parted like silk in his path: “I heard cat demons hold grudges the most, but…”
The Rinnegan suddenly spun.
“Are you sure you want to show your claws to me?”
The flames on Matatabi’s ear tips suddenly contracted as she realized that nine chakra chains had wrapped around her body without her noticing.
Just as she was about to explode, Yugito suddenly reached out and pressed her chest, pale green chakra flowing into her like a spring stream: “Matatabi, please don’t hurt Night Lord…”
Matatabi’s claws froze in mid-air.
She didn’t expect that Yugito would be so bewitched by this man in such a short amount of time.
“Meow”
Matatabi suddenly let out an annoyed cry as she realized that her tail had been grasped by Bai Ye without her noticing.
Even more terrifying was that when Bai Ye rubbed her sensitive tail with a smile, her demonic fire began to flicker uncontrollably.
“Human, stop that!”
Matatabi’s face was now flushed red, whether from anger or embarrassment.
And her voice had changed from its original androgynous tone to a girlish one.
A mischievous smile tugged at the corner of Bai Ye’s lips as he watched the embarrassed and indignant Matatabi, his hands continuing to rub her tail even more wantonly.

His voice carried a hint of teasing, as if he was teasing a cute kitten.
Matatabi’s face grew even redder, and the demonic fire flickered more violently.
“You despicable human, let go of me!”
Her voice was filled with娇嗔 (jiāo chēn – a blend of anger and affection, often used by young women), but without the previous anger.
Bai Ye gently pinched the tip of Matatabi’s tail and said with a smile:
“Oh, are you angry? Don’t be so fierce, I’m just trying to get along with you.”
As he spoke, he leaned closer to Matatabi, his warm breath spraying on her ear.
Matatabi’s ears twitched violently, and her body trembled slightly involuntarily.
She wanted to break free from Bai Ye’s control, but she found herself bound tightly by those chakra chains, unable to move at all.
“What…what do you want to do!”
She said through gritted teeth, but there was now a hint of panic in her eyes.
Bai Ye looked at Matatabi’s flustered and cute appearance, and couldn’t help but gently tap her nose:
“Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you. I just want to get closer to this beautiful cat demon.”
Matatabi’s cheeks were burning hot, she had never been treated like this before.
The resentment in her heart dissipated a lot unknowingly, replaced by an unspeakable shyness and panic.
“Hmph, smooth-talker!”
Matatabi turned her head away, not daring to look at Bai Ye’s smiling eyes.
But Bai Ye didn’t intend to let her go, and gently turned her face back so that she was facing him:
“What, are you still angry with me? Then how about I apologize to you?”
As he spoke, a sly glint flashed in his eyes.
Matatabi was a little overwhelmed by Bai Ye’s actions, her eyes darting around and her heartbeat getting faster and faster.
“Who…who wants you to apologize!”
She stammered.
Bai Ye looked at Matatabi’s appearance and couldn’t help but laugh:
“Alright, alright, then let’s not quarrel. From now on, maybe we will become very good friends.”
Saying that, he finally let go of Matatabi’s tail.
Matatabi quickly took a few steps back, rubbed the tail that Bai Ye had played with, and there was a complex emotion in her eyes.
She looked at Bai Ye, and there was even a slight expectation in her heart for their next interaction, but she was unwilling to admit it to herself.
Yugito’s eyes were full of novelty, and she couldn’t help but walk closer to Matatabi, looking her up and down.

As he spoke, he approached Matatabi and reached out to gently touch her cat ears.
Matatabi was startled by this action and reflexively backed away, accidentally bumping into Yugito.
Yugito quickly helped her up and asked with concern, “Are you okay?”
Matatabi’s cheeks were slightly red.
“I’m…I’m fine.”
She glared at Bai Ye.

Yugito joked.

She pointed at Bai Ye, but her tone wasn’t very intimidating.
Bai Ye shrugged his shoulders.
“I’m just helping you relax, you’ve been sealed for so long, you must be bored.”
As he spoke, he reached out and gently touched the tip of Matatabi’s tail again.
Matatabi felt like she had been electrocuted, and quickly retracted her tail.
“You!”
She stamped her feet, but couldn’t do anything about Bai Ye.
Yugito found it very interesting to watch the two of them.
“Alright, Night Lord, don’t tease Matatabi anymore.”
She said with a smile.
Bai Ye looked at Matatabi’s delicate and angry appearance, his eyes full of smiles.
“Alright, alright, I won’t tease you. But, Matatabi, we have to get along well in the future.”
Matatabi secretly glanced at Bai Ye, and the trace of resentment in her heart had long disappeared, replaced by a feeling that she had never felt before.
She “humphed” softly, without saying anything, but her tail couldn’t help but sway gently again.
Bai Ye watched Matatabi’s gently swaying tail, as if he had discovered some interesting secret, and the smile on the corner of his mouth became even stronger.

He teased.

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. But, this little kitten is really cute.”
Matatabi listened to the conversation between the two, feeling ashamed and annoyed, but also inexplicably looking forward to Bai Ye teasing her again.
She secretly glanced back, and happened to meet Bai Ye’s smiling gaze, and quickly turned her head away again, her heart pounding. “Why have I suddenly become like this?”
Matatabi felt very strange in her heart, she was clearly a dignified tailed beast.
Why does she always blush in front of this human?
She couldn’t figure out this question, clearly she was very normal when she was with Yugito.
Matatabi was immersed in her own thoughts, completely unaware that Bai Ye and Yugito had quietly come behind her.
Suddenly, both tails were grabbed at the same time, her whole body stiffened, as if she had been acupunctured.
